Residential pest control in Saxman
Saxman homes are mostly older single-family houses with vented crawlspaces, and that shapes every residential pest call we run. Mice work the insulation and pipe chases in fall, carpenter ants go after wet deck framing, and wasps build under the deep eaves in summer. Families here want the problem fixed without a lot of chemical around kids and pets, so we lead with exclusion and targeted treatment. If you are on a quarterly preventive plan, you rarely see an emergency call. That is the goal.
- Rodent exclusion and trapping โ We crawl the space, find every gap around pipes and sill plates, and seal them with exclusion mesh and sealant. Snap traps and bait stations go along the runways. Most Saxman homes clear in 7 to 10 days with one follow-up check.
- Carpenter ant and moisture ant treatment โ We trace the colony to the wet wood, treat with dust insecticides and bait stations, and point out the drainage or roof issue feeding it. A 14-day follow-up confirms the trail is dead. Fixing the water source is what keeps them gone.
- Wasp and bee nest removal โ Saxman wasp nests under eaves and porch rafters get removed in the evening when the whole colony is in the nest. We treat the area and pull the old nest material. If the nest is near a door, we treat it as a same-day call.
- Bed bug and flea treatment โ We inspect with a UV blacklight, confirm the activity, and treat on a two-visit protocol 14 days apart. Flea jobs cover the yard perimeter, pet bedding, and indoor floor edges. Both need the second visit to catch the next hatch.
